What's included
Managed IT covers the day-to-day infrastructure most small businesses don't have time to think about: workstations, servers, the network, identity, security baseline, and the help-desk layer on top of it. We don't sell a one-size SKU — we look at what you actually have, what you actually need, and price it accordingly.
- Workstation provisioning, imaging, lifecycle management
- Server install, configuration, patching, monitoring
- Active Directory & Entra ID hybrid setups
- Wireless / WLAN — design, deployment, and ongoing management (small office Wi-Fi up to multi-AP enterprise-style installs with VLANs and roaming)
- Label & thermal printers — Zebra desktop and industrial units, media and ribbon sourcing, driver setup, network configuration, the recurring "why won't this thing print" calls
- Help-desk support for end users (remote & on-site as needed)
- Vendor liaison (when your ISP, printer, or line-of-business software — CRM, ERP, accounting, point-of-sale, whatever runs the day — goes sideways, we deal with it)
- Hardware sourcing, licensing, & deployment — see the next section, it's a real piece of what we do
Hardware + licensing, sourced through us
Buying new PCs, monitors, servers, networking gear, label printers, or phones? Let us spec and source them. The pricing is competitive (we're not paying for a retail storefront), but the real value is what happens after the box arrives: every piece gets imaged, configured to your standards, joined to your domain, enrolled in MFA, agent-installed, and dropped on a user's desk ready to go. One purchase, one configuration cycle, one deploy. Most of our clients buy their hardware and licensing this way because the alternative — buying gear from one place, paying us to set it up, and chasing warranty claims through a third party — just isn't worth the few-dollar Amazon difference.
What we source
- Workstations & laptops — business-grade Dell, HP, Lenovo (or custom builds when it makes sense), spec'd to the job role rather than picking SKUs off a list
- Monitors, peripherals, docks — keyboards, mice, webcams, headsets, dock stations, KVMs
- Servers — bare-metal, virtualized, or hybrid, sized to actual load (we don't oversell)
- Networking equipment — switches, firewalls, wireless access points, patch panels, structured cabling parts
- Label printers & thermal hardware — Zebra desktop and industrial models, label media, ribbon, replacement print heads
- Fortinet / Fortigate — we're a Fortinet authorized reseller. Fortigate firewalls, FortiAP wireless, FortiSwitch, and the rest of the security fabric — spec'd, sold, deployed, and managed under one roof
- Microsoft 365 licensing — direct or via CSP partner channels, including license rationalization (E3 vs F3 vs Business Premium, where it actually fits)
- Microsoft Server / CAL / SQL / Volume Licensing — when you need it, sourced the right way
- Veeam licensing — backup & replication, agents, immutable repositories
- Subscription tooling — antivirus / EDR, RMM agents, password managers, anything else your stack needs as a recurring license
Why source through us?
- Configuration is included. Workstations show up at the office imaged, joined, MFA-enrolled, monitoring-installed, and pre-loaded with the apps that user needs. The "unbox and use it" experience that big-business IT has — at your scale.
- One throat to choke. Shipping screw-up, RMA dispute, licensing transfer that won't go through? We chase it. You don't end up triangulating between three reps and a procurement portal.
- Aligned with your environment. We know your standards, your stack, and what plays nice with what. The hardware we recommend is hardware we've already deployed in environments like yours.
- Honest pricing. We don't pretend we don't make a margin on hardware — but the markup is reasonable, the lifecycle from procurement → deploy → support → eventual retire-and-replace is end-to-end, and the total cost-of-ownership math comes out ahead.
How it works
- Assess. Walk-through of your environment. We see what's there, what's missing, and what's risky — and tell you straight.
- Onboard. Agents deployed, monitoring stood up, backups verified, baseline patched. Most clients reach a steady state within 2–3 weeks.
- Operate. We monitor, patch, respond, and quietly handle the work you'd rather not. When something needs attention, we reach out — no scheduled-meeting theater.
Adjacent services
Managed IT often pairs with these — pick what fits:
- Cloud Services — Microsoft 365 / Entra-Azure / Google Workspace administration
- Cybersecurity — MFA rollouts, EDR, UTM firewall, cyber-insurance compliance
- Backup & DR — 3-2-1 backup posture & off-site replication
- Remote Monitoring — included as part of any managed engagement
Pricing approach
We quote on managed asset count — every PC, server, and VM at your company that touches the internet — plus the number of sites and which services you need. No tiered plans with surprise overages. You can read a quote and know what you're paying for, line by line.
Why every asset, not just some? An unmanaged device on the network is unmonitored, unpatched, and unaccounted for. That's the door we don't want anyone walking through. Every asset that touches the internet is a managed asset — no exceptions, no loose ends.
Want a real number? Send us a note with rough asset count (PCs, servers, VMs) and what you need managed — we'll come back with a quote within a day or two.
Common questions
Do you have an asset-count minimum?
No. We work with shops that have a handful of managed assets and businesses with dozens or more. The work scales; the pricing reflects it.
Can we keep our existing IT person and use you as overflow?
Yes — co-managed arrangements are common. Your in-house person owns the relationship; we handle escalations, after-hours, or specific specialties.
What if we just need a project, not ongoing management?
Project work is fine — server migrations, cleanups, AD restructures, network refreshes. Flat-rate or T&M depending on scope.
